How Our Content Is Made
BewareOf.ai publishes two kinds of content, produced two different ways. We use the standard terms for each, because they do not mean the same thing.
Beware Index ratings: AI-generated
Ratings in the Beware Index are researched and written by an AI system working from a fixed set of instructions, and are published without a human rewriting the prose. The content is artificially generated within the meaning of Article 50 of the EU AI Act, and this notice, together with the statement on our About page, is our disclosure of that fact.
The system operates under fixed constraints rather than at large. Each product is scored on five defined dimensions; the letter grade is then derived from those scores by a deterministic script rather than chosen by the model. Sources are required, and an automated validation step rejects entries that are unsourced or that fail our editorial standards. Revisions are logged publicly with a date and a stated reason.
Fiction: AI-assisted
Stories are drafted with the help of AI tools and are then edited, restructured and approved by a human author before publication. A person decides what each piece says and holds editorial responsibility for it. "Joe Kryo" is the pen name under which this work is published.

Public Domain and Free Content
Public-domain source material and unclaimed AI output remain free for all to use. We do not claim copyright over:
- Original public domain texts that inspired our adaptations
- Raw AI-generated content before human curation
- Basic plot elements from classic literature
Transparency
Each story includes an AI notice in its metadata disclosing the use of AI-assisted text. We maintain records of our creative process to distinguish between human and AI contributions.
